Steve Latimer & Associates

Bio

Joining the petroleum equipment distribution industry in 1995, Steve Latimer began his career in an entry level role with Northwest Pump & Equipment in Seattle, WA.  Ascending from his initial position in Operations, Steve accepted a role in Inside Sales in 1997, gaining experience in Retail Petroleum and Chemical/Industrial applications.  The dot-com era in the late 90’s created an opportunity for Steve to enter into the Commercial and “Mission Critical” fuel system market, where he became a key supplier and resource for Engineers and Mechanical Contractors in Hospital, Data Center and other important facility applications.  His reputation in this field led Steve to apply for and be accepted to serve on the Petroleum Equipment Institute RP1400 Committee to produce the “Recommended Practices for the Design and Installation of Fueling Systems for Emergency Generators, Stationary Diesel Engines and Oil Burner Systems”, published in 2014.  Steve was asked to speak on the panel announcing the release at the PEI/NACS convention later that year.

In July 2018, Steve made the successful transition from Distributor to Manufacturer’s Representative, representing some of the premier equipment manufacturers in the Petroleum and Water / Wastewater markets.
